Hello,
We have been advised by Telehouse that they intend to raise our pricing
(again) with effect from the 1st of September 2006. We have, for most
customers, absorbed the previous price rise, but unfortunately this rise is
by a margin we are unable to absorb and will result in across the board
price rises on most products.
Base 1U space pricing will be going up to £32.50 ex VAT per month, for
machines not using more than 0.5A of power. Additional power is POA.
This means that most colocation customers can expect an initial rise of
£7.50 a month for each 1U colocated machine they have with us. If you have
machines that use more than 0.5A of power there is the possibility we will
be in touch once we have had time to audit the usage of servers in the
racks.
Customers not paying the base pricing (eg: bulk purchase discounted
customers) will be contacted individually to discuss their revised pricing.
Budget dedicated server pricing is going to be fixed - in reality this
represents a price drop.
Shared webhosting pricing will be going up by £5 per annum inc VAT across
the board.
For those of you who still have a shell account, shell pricing will be going
up by £1 ex vat per annum per process. Our shell pricing has been fixed for
nearly 6 years and so this still represents an excellent value for money
service price point.
Full rack customers will be contacted in due course to discuss their revised
pricing.

Phillip Baker
