[LCH Announce] Wave0.lchost.co.uk Difficulties

Hi,

Wave0 (The US Cpanel server) has been experiencing difficulties over the
past couple of days. We're not entirely sure what has brought this on but we
suspect it's a combination of recent upgrades to the software and an
increased visitor count to a number of popular sites on the server.

To this end we are discontinuing further sales of our US Cpanel packages,
and discontinuing providing a US Cpanel service at all. This might sound
like bad news, but what we're going to do instead is provide Cpanel hosting
directly from our own network in the UK where we have a better control over
hardware specifications.

All existing accounts on wave0 will be migrated to cpanel0, which will be a
dual xeon server on our London network. We hope to kill all problems the
cpanel accounts have been experiencing by performing this move. Existing
pricing will be unaffected and you will continue to pay the same rate that
you do at present.

This will start to take place in the next few days and will require your
cooperation. We will be in touch with exact dates and details as soon as
possible in order to arrange. We will be moving accounts gradually - we are
presently looking at perhaps doing one or two reseller accounts (and all the
associated subaccounts) per day. We will need your cooperation in changing
nameserver records for domains that you control.

We apologise for the inconvenience of moving them but we're sure you'd
rather move them than have the service performing as badly as it is at
present.
