All,

We apologise for the short periods of reduced quality of service during
these periods while we have been reconfiguring BGP sessions with one of our
transit providers.

These configurations took place to filter out some bad routes which were
causing extremely high latency for customers on particular european ISPs.

We would ask you to keep us posted of any bad routes or high latency you or
your customers experience when using our network so that we may track them
down and fix them - please do not assume we will ignore your requests to
investigate network issues.

Future reconfigurations will be collated and performed during a weekly
scheduled 'at-risk' window that will be reserved for 6:00-7:00am UK time on
Monday mornings, in order to minimise inconvenience.

We are keen to point out that these changes are for your benefit and would
ask you to have patience when they occur.

When reporting bad routes please remember include a trace from the customers
equipment to our network, *AND* the customer's IP address - we have to be
able to trace back to them from our side to see what's going on.

Regards,
Phillip Baker
